Anybody on here know a good guitar tutor in Edinburgh specialising in metal or rock? I've been playing for around a year and a half and my first tutor wasn't that good and i felt i got nowhere with him so i quite after a few months and have been learning on my own for the past few months. I feel i need some guidance again just to make sure i never picked up any bad technique habits from my previous tutor as well as other things. Cheers.

ALRIGHT LISTEN UP!

You take ya fingers and put them on the guitar on the 7th fret of the fifth string and hit it once, then hit the sixth string twice then hit the 8th fret on the fifth string once then hit the sixth string twice again then hit the 7th fret again.

BAM!

They'll call you the painkiller.

Try the Academy of Music and Sound. It's down stairs in Red Dog Music. They do music (college) courses but they also do private lessons. I went there last year and the teachers are very good.
