Thinking about picking up a Sterling JP-70 next paycheck.

Its a seven string for about 650.00. I have never had a seven before. Has anyone had any experience with them?? I really like the JPs but I don't think I ever be able to pay the 3k that they cost for a Musicman.

Should I get one or maybe you have something you recommend instead?

I got the chance to play one a few days ago and it was a great guitar for the price. Compared to the other 7 strings at that range it was solid. Only issue i had with it was that it went slightly out of tune when using the trem. Other than that the pickups are decent for stock pickups but i would still replace them for a crunchlab/liquifire set.
