Just wondering how John Mayer is getting some pretty insane sustain for a Strat at 6:16. I'm lucky to last a couple a seconds on bends.

I know he's running a Strat into his custom Two Rock amp (or perhaps a Fender amp here), and he still seems like he's in overdrive. I mean I would like to get this sort of sustain. I even got my action raised today, my trems decked. I'm not sure how much more gain I can put on before it get saturated!

I hear they use false bypass switches.

It's, like, so ironic.
