so i have my new pickup, and from what i can tell by looking at the current wiring, theres only one wire that goes from the pickup to the volume? im not quite sure if im correct, ive only swapped pickups once and that was with a normal humbucker. i have no idea if im correct so i wanna make sure before i start working on it.
i also took a picture of what the new pickup has as far as wiring goes, idk if thats what every p90 has, but i figured i might as well include it. sorry for being such a noob, ive never done this stuff before

The wire is the signal and the metal braid shield is the ground. It'll go exactly like the pickup that's in there now, the inner black wire goes on the 'left' post of the pot and the metal coating goes to the back of the pot.
