I really love the old folk-blues of Robert Johnson, Blind Willie Mctell, Leadbelly, etc. But they're kind of... Dead. So, are there any blues players still playing in this style that I could see live. I've seen on YouTube your "Singer/Songwriter I play blues too" type people but I just can't get into their music. Any suggestions?

Also, Harry Manx shows us what happens if you take american folk/blues and eastern folk music and smoosh them together;

If you can't find music in the Robert Johnson, Blind Willie Mctell, Leadbelly style, you're not looking very hard.

Tab Benoit, Mark Selby, Rory Block...just look around,

Tab Benoit

I was listening to him earlier, and he's very good.
Didn't come across any acoustic stuff though so I didn't post him itt.

I lived in Houma, La. for a while and never saw him once while I was there, which in retrospect is more than a bit embarrassing!!
