Overall, I like it. The guest solo is nice. It was very nicely played and adds to the song.

I do have a small issue with the lead work in the intro. It comes off as being very one note-ish and some of the parts where the guitarist plays some very quick notes, they come off as being a little rushed - they feel like they're not in time with the music and that they really don't belong.

Again, overall - the song is good. I like it.

thanks for commenting!
Yeah bits of it are a tiny bit rushed, but wanted to keep it sounding as natural as possible really.

Again thanks for the comments worked hard on this song, will post the rest of the EP when it is released

The acoustic guitars sound great. The fast parts of solo in the beginning sounded out of place to me. The riffing ~3:12 felt too sudden and strange on acoustic. The later solo's felt groovy and great.
The vocals were great and I liked the lyrics. I think this song's length was perfect; it didn't drag out or feel too long.
I followed you in SC and I look forward to hearing more of your work

^ yeah they guy who produced it did a great job. Yeah that change to that riff has been mentioned to me before, needed the change the song up, and couldnt think of a decent transition.

Thanks for the feedback and the follow, although most of my updates go on my FB page, which I linked in the original post, so if you want more info regarding the EP id suggest going there

Holy smokes man that is a great song! Good job bro! Your vocal style reminds of this band called Poets of the Fall, and that solo I'm the middle reminded me of Avenged Sevenfolds outro solo to one of there songs I think it's sidewinder. Beautiful song man!

cheers mate, that means alot!
I'll check them out, the producer said it reminded him of Matt Heafy in places.
Yes I love that track, that'll be why :P

I really liked the intro and the lead was perfect for it except for a few notes which did seem a bit rushed. Other than that though I enjoyed it!
What acoustic guitars did you use for recording?
They sound fantastic!

Cheers pal.
Tis in my sig, the Faith Hi Gloss Venus. Best £600 I ever spent, sounds as good as a some acoustics much more expensive.

The nylon strung guitar was played by my mate on a Godin if I remember correctly

EDIT: just checked out your stuff and really enjoyed it, good job!
