Heavily looking forward to the new Alice in Chains album, comes out next week!

Ooh, +1 to this actually. Seriously enjoyed that album.

Only 2013 album i've listened to is Daft Punk's. And I thought it was okay, but nothing special. But shit son, Christgau gave the new Vampire Weekend album an A+. Might have to give it a listen because we tend to agree, though I remember listening to the singles and not being particularly impressed.

i havent listened to a single album of new music all year. i heard the new mgmt song, and a new frusciante song, but thats it. the parallax 2 was the last album i got.

Ballaké Sissoko - At Peace
Dead Can Dance - In Concert
Charles Bradley - Victim of Love
Ulrich Schnauss - A Long Way to Fall
Am & Shawn Lee - La Musique Numerique

And there are a few more that I really like but those ones mostly.

Dunno what else has been released this year tbh.
My exact sentiment.

New Dillinger Escape Plan album is really good, but album of the year is going to be Phil Anselmos solo effort.

Holy shit, stop reminding me how lazy I've been musically.

The only one I can think of I really liked this far was mbv.

Random Access Memories is fantastic. I doubt it'll be album of the year in the face of Sabbath, QOTSA etc, but damn it'll likely be in my top 10 I reckon.

I'm not even sure what else came out this year so far, gotta check a few of these out.

EDIT: Oh yeah, mustn't forget the new Steven Wilson album. I didn't like it very much at first, but it's been slowly growing on me.

Haven't gotten anything new this year yet
But looking forward to QOTSA, 30 Seconds to Mars and possibly a new Tool album (oh who am I kidding, I've been saying that for the past 2 years).

And maybe a new Tony Rosewood collection. That'd be nice.
