Can anyone recommend me a good full hollowbody electric i can use to play some dirty blues? I want something like jack white papercovered kay but not exactly just similar. Also needs to be under a grand so no gibbys.

Edit: i think i want something with some p90s but dont let that stop you from suggesting something.

Here's a few worth considering.

Reverend

Only the first one is a true hollowbody, the rest are semis (and the first one is unlikely to be found under $1000):

Godin

These would also do you right, even if they're not hollowbodies (I don't know if they are or are not):

Gretsch's Electromatic series has a couple of full hollowbodies, with a MSRP of around $1300. You might be able to find them retail in your price range.
Sturgeon's 2nd Law, a.k.a. Sturgeon's Revelation: “Ninety percent of everything is crap.”

Why, yes, I am a lawyer- thanks for asking!

Log off and play yer guitar!

Strap on, tune up, rock out!

Gretsch G5122. Great for dirty blues.

You won't regret it. At least, I didn't.
