Hey guys, this is the song my band are planning on releasing as our first single. It's influenced by a wide range of stuff, but mainly Evanescence and Paramore. The backing vocals are Fleetwood Mac-inspired and the drums are kind of reminiscent of The Rev of Avenged Sevenfold in places. Also listen out for the not-at-all-over-the-top Steve Stevens-esque solo. I wrote and arranged this song, and played bass and rhythm guitars on the recording. Enjoy, and C4C!

TJ,
Is that Zoe Deschanel or a female in your group in your avatar photo? I like most of the guitar riffs. I like the vocals. I wonder if they would sound fuller if you double-tracked all of them, but that could be overkill? One trick I've done lately: mix Melodyne pitch-corrected vocals with non-pitch corrected vocals that are moved forward about .03 seconds in time for pseudo double-tracking with tight timing. Nice lead guitar, I'm guessing you used a Whammy pedal. Drums sound nice. Nice song. Please review my music at this link:

Well I'd turn the gain on your guitars, you don't need as much as you think you do on recordings. I'd crank the drums as well. Your singer sounds good, they just need to project a lot more, make them sound as in your face as the music is. I'd turn the vocals down in the chorus for sure. That guitar solo was really interesting, what the heck. Was not expecting that at all. That was the best part of the song. Love the last chorus.

C4C?
