Thread has probably been done before but w/e.

Any of you guys and gals like boots? This is the thread to discuss such a thing, whether its motorcycling, hiking, working, walking, or just fashion.

Dem work boots

Dem motorcycle boots

Dem hipster boots

I've been in a dilemma lately. I want some boots that look good, feel comfy, and last long. Unfortunately, being a pleb, I can't afford to spend 300-400 dollars on Red Wing Iron Rangers or Wolverine 1000 mile boots. I like the looks of those boots but my budget is only about 100 dollars. Anybody know any good boots for that price range? My priority is practicality, but I' also like to wear them often even if Im not biking/hiking.

Probably the quickest, yet surprisingly relevant, response I've ever seen.

I've considered Docs but I've read some bad reviews. What models are good?

I love boots. I have a couple pairs of wedge boots, one that goes to my knee and one that goes over my knee, on my thighs basically. I do want a pair of riding boots though, they're cute.

I don't know, whatever one floats your boat really. If you're looking to do work in them, just go to a western warehouse and get something. Doc Martens just look really good.

I think most of them look really good. Not planning on doing work but riding my motorcycle and just general wear. Anyone know how comfortable and durable these are? Considering the Tobias or the 1460.

Just bought a pair of vintage made in UK Doc Marten 1460s on ebay for 75 bucks.

I fell good about it.

I honestly hate boots. At least when worn for style, doesn't work for me that way.

I read reviews saying the newer made in Asia ones were hit or miss, but the older UK made ones were high quality, so when I saw these puppies on ebay for $60 plus shipping I jumped on 'em. And the best part is they're already broken in for me.

Anything from Half Life 2= win.

I think the ones I got look good, but not as good as some of those 300+ dollar boots.

Definitely a step up from the suede hipster boots I got from H&M last summer.

Where the **** are you shopping? You can get Red Wing for $100. I just get ones from Walmart, they last several years.

Got these boots for work and they are probably the comfiest footwear I own. Then again they also cost me alot so they should be.
#35
I wear these pretty much everywhere I go. They weren't my first choice but over the 3 years I've had em, I've grown to enjoy them.

Strange, they are like cowboy boot loafers, but yeah I'd wear 'em.

Hell, I'd wear 'em to a wedding.
