If anyone has any experience with these how do they compare with the HR Avenger? What is the difference in them, I have only played the HRA but I have a good lead on a Avenger if it is what I think it is.

Pretty similar, the Hot Rod just has the extra channel and I can't remember if the Avenger comes with a loop.

EDIT: I think there's a 50w Hot Rod on RT for $900.

i've only tried the avenger, but i think the HR avenger has a loop? normal avenger doesn't, far as i'm aware.

EDIT: ^ just been to the soldano site, neither seems to have the extra channel. the hot rod (non-avenger) seems to have the extra channel.

he could probably have named them more clearly. in hindsight.

I'mma go and copyright "SLO avenger hot rod lucky 13" as a name for an amp just in case he decides to come up with any new amp designs, as that's probably what he'll name it
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Yeah I have a guy that wants $650 and it is in great shape, just needs some new glass. It is just a 1.5 hour drive one way so I have to try and decide before I drive all that way

Ah, yea. Avenger is base, Hot Rod Avenger has the loop and the Hot Rod XL has the extra channel.
