There's a lot of good stuff out there. it's summer and I'm sure lots of you need something to fill your otherwise empty days. What do you think everyone should watch?

I'll start with Seinfeld and Fawlty Towers.

Some that are less common to hear about:

Mystery Science Theater 3000, although I'd recommend mainly sticking to the latter end of the series, they're a lot more consistently funny in general.
Louie
Samurai Champloo
Twilight Zone
Sherlock
Freaks and Geeks

Monk is usually worth watching too, but idk about it being necessary.

This is why we need TV!

Most of the best HBO shows like Game of Thrones, Boardwalk EMpire, Six-feet-under. That kind of stuff.

EDIT: Damn, AD was just said. Well, Futurama!

ITT: Everyone posts their favorite show, then a few pages later someone posts saying one of the ones most people agreed with(Seinfeld, Arrested Development, Always Sunny, etc.) sucks, and a big fight erupts for about twelve or so pages.

most underrated cartoon ever

I don't know about MOST, but it was pretty great.

I'm watching the blues episode of Metalocalypse. It's so insanely good. The monologue about blues-men writing blues songs just seems like a mush of words at first, but it's actually the funniest thing I've ever heard in my life.

"As his disembodied head were flying through the air he wrote 'Blues Train a-comin' Blues.'"

Good show, although I hope they know when to end and don't just drag it out and ruin it because how often do RTE actually make a good tv show. Also, is it even shown in other countries ?

Yes. Rarely hear anyone talk about Mission Hill, was such a funny show. Home Movies is one of my favorites too.

My contribution: Space Ghost Coast To Coast, Party Down, Girls, Psych, Frisky Dingo, Archer, Life and Times of Tim, Harvey Birdman, Nathan For You, and i think I'll stop there.

I thought Girls was a terrible show, it was a bit like Bridesmaids where it's just some women trying to prove they can be funny.

I dunno, haven't watched the second season yet but I thought the first one was pretty funny. A little girly, maybe, but that doesn't derail it any.

FANTASTIC show. Sadly never aired in the US because of Christian backlash, but in what other show is God a Dude-esque hippy, the Devil a flamboyant whiner, and the new prophet a beer-drinking factory worker from Detroit?
