Ebay is the best place to find them since people like to swap them for emgs on the V's and Explorers. Best way to check is to look at the back of the pickup and the back plate will have the"Gibson USA" logo stamped on it.

thanks for the response, but every gibson pickup i have ever swapped out hasn't had an obvious model number or name. and maybe i should have been clearer than i was in the first post.

for example even the 490R/498T's were hard to distinguished unless i marked them, they did however have the gibson logo.

do you know of any labeling as far as the different pickups are?

thanks

I got mine off Amazon... But I also paid $80... Wish I had known about the MyLesPaul Classifieds... but then again, I also really wanted the Zebra Bobbins, might have been a lil hard to come by on classifieds.
