like the song 'patience' by gnr or 'more than words' by extreme.

a love song like this that is a classic, popular, hit or whatever you call it from any era.

thanks

+1 on the Death Cab song, The A Team - Ed Sheeran is acoustic and so is Ho Hey - The Lumineers. Hotel Yorba and We're Going To Be Friends - White Stripes are also pretty popular.

Tears In Heaven by Eric Clapton.

And Landslide by Fleetwood Mac isn't massively well known but it's one of their best, and my very favourite song. (especially the live version )

there's always....shudder.... "every rose has its thorns". thats from that era. as is "when the children cry" by white lion or great white's 'save all your love" Dokken's "alone again". tesla's "love song". "high enough" by Damn Yankees.
there are so many from that generation of music.
need more gear and a lot more talent(courtesytuxs)

Lazy song bruno mars.

Not explicitly guitar/ vocal only.

But does it matter? So many songs translate well too t guitar/vocals, and some even sound better.

The "Re-incarnation of Plato" Award 2009
(most intelligent)
The "Good Samaritan" Award 2009 (most helpful)
