Hey guys,
I recently got a new pickup(DiMarzio X2N) installed in my bridge and for some reason it is very quiet, odd considering it's meant to be super high output. It's not only that it's very quiet, when I have it on the drive channel the sound is this tinny, weak noise that is not even distorted.
I can't make a trip to a guitar shop for a while so do you guys have any suggestions as to what I could do?
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like its not wired correctly or perhaps its not getting grounded. I once had a problem with an Ibanez Xiphos, it had the same problem as you, turned out one of the leads that connected to the selector switch was too long and contacting the shielding on the control cavity.
