Hi Guitarists!

please forgive my ignorance. I'm actually a classical bassist, who wants to learn guitar.

I have the opportunity to buy either a Ibanez Prestige or a Steinburger Synapse, both in

perfect condition. The Prestige is 700 and the Synapse is 600. What would be the better

buy? Is the Prestige significantly better than the Synapse, sound and playability wise?

Any thoughts are GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks very much!

Personally, I would take the prestige. If you need/really want a headless, go with the synapse.
HILT!

Where's Waldo?

I've never played the Synapse, but I'm not a fan of the cosmetic appearance of a guitar like that.

It looks a bit ridiculous.

The Prestige is a great guitar though. If you can play them both do so, if not I'd take the Ibanez.

Go ahead and spend your money, I don't care. It won't make you sound better.

Well are you talking about a trans scale Synapse? Thats a cool idea.

But I think a prestige is more versitlie in the fact that you can mod/set it up more ways. Are you only limited to a few sets of string gauges with a stienburger system?
What the hell!!!
