I hope this is the correct forum for this question. 31 days ago (one day outside the 30 day warranty) I bought a used Fender 65 Super Reverb Reissue from Guitar Center. Everything on the amp worked, but I didn't try the foot switch until last night.

The foot switch works for the vibrato. However, it does not turn the reverb on and off. You have to go to the amp and dial the reverb down all the way to turn it off.

I put a meter to the foot switch plug, and both switches work just fine.

There must be something in the circuitry at the foot switch jack that interrupts the reverb circuit, giving the control to the foot switch, and there must be something wrong with that something.

Does anyone have any experience with that jack? I don't know that I'd take the amp apart now to fix it, especially if it's a PITA to do. I'd like to know how to do it, though, should I change my mind.

Thanks for any replies.
