what kind of guitar is that...it looks funky.

I think you were slightly out of tune, and the bend at 19 seconds is off. That whole part of the riff isn't right. The solo has some missing notes and definitely could use some improvement. Your timing after the solo is off as well. I think you should practice the song a little more to really nail it, because you're close. It just needs some polishing. I would mainly suggest working on your bends.

But on a Hendrix song any improvisation is valid. I think he used dorian/pentatonic scales btw.

and the guitar is steinberger hohner

Always remember to tune your guitar man, it will always help bring out your full potential. I think you could use a bit of work on your vibrato and bends as they were a bit reckless at times and not on pitch. I think most of the playing is there but you just need to get some of your timing a little polished up. Solid attempt though, keep it up man! Really cool guitar by the way

I don't believe in this concept. A cover is a note for note rendition of the song proving you have the skills to perform that song to the same level. Rarely do I enjoy a Hendrix cover that is improvised. I would rather see you play it note for note even if you can improv better than hendrix can solo. Your close but polish that playing up so it can shine.
