I've heard that James Tyler had some guitars made in Japan for a short period of time in the early to mid 2000's, called Studio Standard

I have yet to see any good sound clip or video of em, let alone play one.
They seem to have mixed reviews. Supposedly Tyler himself said that it wasn't a good experience for him, and that these guitars just didn't deliver what he wanted them to.

Not to mention these have been erased from the Tyler family tree, and they act like it never existed or something...

Does anyone know the full story on why it ended so quick?
Or any additional information on these guitars in general??
