Have you played either one?

As for my personal preference, without playing them, I'd pick the Cort for two purely asthetic reasons, it's a natural color and not black (just a personal pref) and it's got a satin finish as opposed to High Gloss (again just a personal pref.)

why those two?

the tak seems to be all laminate, while the cort has a solid top. i haven't cared for the tone of the lower priced taks i've tried, so i'd go with the cort.
