If you could assemble a dream team of musicians, assuming they all get along (probably not) who would they be?
Any genre, classic rock, metal, hard rock, etc.
For me, the ultimate 'djent' band:

Daniel Tompkins (Ex-Tesseract) - Vocals
Tosin Abasi (Animals as Leaders) - Guitar
Misha Mansoor (Periphery) - Guitar
Dan Briggs (BTBAM) - Bass
Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree) - Percussion

Not too sure how Gavin Harrison would fit in...
Guitars & Gear:
Parker Nitefly M
Sumer Metal Driver
Ibanez RGD2120Z
Two Notes Torpedo CAB

Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin)- Lead guitar- makes great lead riffs and can solo like heck
Jeff Beck (Yardbirds/Solo artist)- Rhythm Guitar- Great at repeating riffs and generally good
Geddy Lee (Rush)- Bass- Listen to YYZ
Stewerd Copeland (The Police)- Drums/Percussion-Can do any Style of music in any way

As for vocals, I would defy the whole "Musicians" rule and say Morgan Freeman. I'd pay him to narrate my life.

They Would be called "the Foxhounds".

Metal Band
Singer: Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden)
Lead: Randy Rhoads (Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne)
Rhythm: Dimebag Darrell (Pantera, DamagePlan)
Bassist: Cliff Burton (Metallica)
Drummer: Dave Lombardo (Slayer)

I love Bruce's singing.
Randy shreds and Dime has jamming riffs.
Maybe they could have alternating solos like Megadeth has
Cliff plays like guitarist filling the bottom end.
Dave because he is a good heavy metal drummer. His double bass gets my heart thumping.
my dream team is already gone.

but the winery dog is a pretty cool dream team of mine.
Genre: Rap Rock/Alternative Hip Hop

Singer: Mike Patton (Hell, most well-rounded singer I know of. Can sing any genre that's asked of him)
Guitarist: Tom Morello (Can make love to his guitar. Fits the hip hop sound that's being aimed here.
Bass Guitar: Matt Sharp (Good tone and texture in his bass. Great background vocals. Look at The Rentals)
Synth/DJ: Liam Howlett (I tell ya, this man can make a sick ass beat.)
Percussion: Kashikura Takashi (Drummer of Toe. The emotion he puts into his work and the sheer tone of his kit along with his skills makes him a perfect fit)
I am the witness, I am Mohammed, I am the elephant man.
