This is my first attempt at music, at least to the extent of letting others hear it. This is actually song #12 out of 21 that I've made over the years, but I either haven't had the time to record them, I need to re-record them for updated quality, or I just don't think they're ready yet.

You can't hear the bass on laptop speakers, so listen to this on a sound system or with headphones.

This song was completely produced, recorded, and rendered on equipment totaling under $400. I'm hoping to be able to afford some new equipment soon, but I can't do that if I don't move forward with what I have already.

So leave positive or negative comments, I don't care... just enjoy the music (or not)...

Equipment used:

Guitar: Fender Starcaster Strat
Amp: Fender SP-10 starter amp
Computer: Compaq "something" from the early 2000's
Program: Sony Acid Pro 9 / Sony Sound Forge 8 / Put together in Movie Maker

BrotherBear for Master's Music

(BrotherBear might be my stage name... heh)

Sounds pretty decent. The guitar sound is pretty good considering that your gear is pretty bad. But yeah, you might want to add something over this. This sounds like a rhythm part of a song. But you can definitely make it sound more interesting if you add some vocals or instrumental melody. But without them it's too empty and a bit too repetitive. It's a nice chill piece that would fit as a background music.

Here's my newest song if you want to check it out: https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1606406
