ok guys so i recently talked to two different people selling their cabs on craigslist . one offering a 1960a marshall cab that he says is vintage( it has a clear plastic lining around it) talked him down to $350 or a mesa boogie 4x12 cab that in fair condition(toured with) for $350. im gonna probably have these cabs hooked up with a 6505 so which should i go with. btw the marshall has celestion g12t-75 speakers

i'm guessing the mesa has v30s? normally people say v30s pair well with 6505s, but i haven't tried that combo.

i guess it depends on the condition etc. too.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

I'd have to go with Mesa for a 6505. Mesa cabs are just built better with better materials than Marshall is.
