Alternatively, for the girl(s) on the pit, a guy your parents hated??

Not talking about a girl home to bang for a night, but someone as a girlfriend/boyfriend and your parents looked ready to beat her/him to death with a paddle.

It's only happened to me one time. In the end it was completely justified because she was a bitch and I didn't see it at the time, but they had her completely figured out from day one.

I know of another girl who brought this guy home she was crazy about for dinner with her family and the guy showed up and didn't talk once. awkward as shit.

Ai'ight Pit, don't disappoint me.

No but once we have broken up the first thing out of my dad or mum's mouth is

"I didn't like her anyway she wasn't good enough for you"

I have been hated by the girls parents though.

I can't tell if it's because they don't like me personally or because I'm fucking their daughter

Sometimes people only tell you their opinion after it's over. Not much help, eh?

I've never been hated though, it's happened to me that I stopped seeing a girl and felt bad that I wouldn't be having any more witty banter with her dad.

I second the 'ever brought a girl home... No I haven't

Would tell about my experiences if I had any to tell

Same as OP, she was a biker, my mom hated her, she turned out to be a bitch, kudos to mom for reading her better than me

Only once, but when I had my five inch tall mohawk, I swear girls would date me just to take me home to meet their parents and drive them nuts.

One girl from HS I dated played piano in a church choir. I still remember meeting her mom at the door and all her mom could say was, "Oh. Oh, my." The funny thing was that her daughter was actually wilder than I was, on the inside.

Yeah a couple of girlfriends didnt go down to well with my folks.

First one turned up at my parents house with a bottle of buckfast [for those of you that dont know buckfast its a tonic wine mostly associated with neds, chavs, jakies and just generally scum] which earned her the title buckfast queen.Quite funny think about it now espcially since we were together for four years.

Another girlfriend had a major attitude problem and was weird as shit.My folks and my brother went for a few beers on my birthday at a local pub and they was a pack of nudey cards laying on the table. My brother opens them for a laugh and phycho girl storms out.My mum ****ing hated that girl.If a advert come on the tv with a scantily clad girl i would be in for a world of shit.

My last girlfriend didn't meet my parents for about 2 years because my mum hated her without even meeting her (long story).

Pretty much every girls parents hate me. Not sure why, probably because I keep trying to have snuu-snuu with their little princesses...One of them came at me with a bat once but I think he was being over dramatic.

My last ex's parents liked me though which is strange because they hated everybody and where open as hell to not liking people...especially their hate for their daughter...
When I was eleven I broke the patio window and my mother sued me... She's always been a very aggressive litigator.

Nope. I go for the type of girl who can (at the very least pretend to) be charming and respectful towards new people, such as my own parents.

My boyfriend that actually used to frequent the pit as well was a pretty big no go with my parents. He was from a super conservative, fundamental religion and my parents weren't impressed with a lot of his beliefs (particularly the treatment of women). At the time it really bothered me and felt their opinion was unjust, but in the end they were totally right.

They absolutely adore my current boyfriend though.

My gf's dad doesn't care much for me, he doesn't mind me I guess, my only meeting with him I drank all his beer, but before that he said my gf and I couldn't sleep in the same bed together, while with her mom we'd been walked in on early in our relationship she knocked but didn't hear don't come in.

So basically my gf's mom is cool with me, her dad just doesn't like that I'm plowing her.

I had girls parents in highschool not like me, but they didn't know me, so it wasn't really fair.

My parents have liked the girls I've brought home. My sister has dated a couple black guys and when my grandparents first met one they acted like he didn't even exist. Like he would talk about they wouldn't even acknowledge that someone had spoken.

They're also the people who consider their very brown, half Mexican grandchildren white.

I'm the same.

Although I was nothing but charming to the old dear despite how freaking loony and wacky she was, she still didn't like me despite me making her daughter happy for 2 and half years. Nonsense

Jokes on her 'cause as of yesterday I'm back

my mom acted like she liked my boyfriend until she found out we were actually dating. now she dislikes him for the following reasons

-his older sister's eyebrows are too thin
-he looks too greek
-he's too tall
-he drinks too much
-his facebook privacy settings are nonexistent
-his eyes are too small
-he wasn't the first person to say happy birthday to me on facebook and he hasn't liked my profile pic
-he wants to be a doctor
-she can't understand his accent
-his feet look weird

I think she's just making these up to cover up for what she doesn't like: anything more than kissing. I don't think my dad likes him but he hasn't said anything yet.

Everyone's parents love me though because I'm so charming

Well I'm disliking my sister's boyfriend right now because he left his dog with us to look after for over week and I have no idea when he's going to come get him.

Also for a 26 year old he looks 30-35.

I've never brought a girl home. I'm pretty sure my mother would pass out with shock/relief. I believe she thinks I need to hurry up and get myself in the game.

Knowing my sodding luck, I'll bring one home that everybody hates.
I shall grant you three wishes.

None of which will work.

Does the above post enrage, offend or confuse you?

Good.

I only brought one girl home, and my parents liked her. At least that's what i think, they went along great, and she was really friendly with my mom. My little sister kept staring at her boobs tough...
As for my grandparents, i think they loved her more than they do me, because when we broke up after two years, the first thing my grandma said was "oh poor girl, she must be so upset!" and then gave me a mean as **** look.
Interestingly, her parents liked me a lot too, and apparently miss me a lot for some reason. Must be because they have 3 daughters and her dad was happy to finaly have someone to help with housework while i was there.

My first girlfriend and I got along great with each other's family. We actually missed them a lot when we broke up. It was almost as bad as the whole break up thing. I hang out with her occasionally and my mom gave her a hug since it had been quite a while since she had seen her.

My current girlfriend's mom hates gay people and her mom's boyfriend said J. K. Rowling is demonic. I'm not so thrilled about these. I'm probably going to be the one she brings home and everyone dislikes because I'm not religious.

My parents absoutely adore my gf, and I think her parents like me to a certain extent (which is funny because my gf hates her own mother's guts).
Now my grandparents, that's a completely different story..

How can women hate gays so much? With men you can say it's homophobia stemming from their own sexual insecurity. But women? That's some serious brainwashing.

My rents loved my last girlfriend. But that didn't work out so maybe I should bring one they hate?

Religion. She'll cite the same part of the bible that forbids the divorce she recently got. She says marriage is only for procreation. She's getting remarried soon and definitely won't have children from it. She cray.

the opposite for me. I'm convinced my parents like my wife more than they like me and that they like me less and less since we got married. Now for example, if my parents have something to say to me, they'll call my wife and have her relay the message.

Her parents like me because we don't speak the same language so we can't argue about religion, I don't beat my wife and am not an alcoholic (I have a deadbeat brother in law to thank for that)

I only ever brought one girl home. My mom didn't really mind her, but my dad knew she was a psycho bitch right from the get go. She wouldn't eat a damn thing around me, even if she claimed to like what ever it was that my parents were making. That seriously annoyed my dad..

As for her parents, her mom seemed to love me and said I was a "sweetheart". Her dad didn't seem to mind me but was very standoffish for whatever reason... most likely the whole same "daddy's little girl" crap. He would always be just in the other room but wouldn't come out or say anything.
#39
My parents have liked all the girls I've brought home (and by that, I mean all two of them)

On the flipside though, first girlfriends mother loved me, second girlfriends parents hated me, and my current girlfriend....not too sure, I met her mother the first time a few weeks ago, and the first thing she said was "I hope you're looking after my daughter"....haven't heard anything bad though

I often wonder how i'm going to be when I'm the dad and my kids bring home someone they're dating.

As long as they are respectful, smart, kind, humble, polite, good-looking, rich, charming, and like the Red Sox, Red Wings (or the Bruins as a second less desirable but acceptable option) and Eagles, I guess i'd be okay with it.

Forget all that. As long as they don't like the Giants, Rangers or Yankees, i'm happy.
