So I was browsing the interwebz for a new amp and came across a Halfstack Crate FW120H + Crate FW412B for about 1600 Dirhams (which is almost $435). I found this to be an AWESOME deal for the price in my area (Dubai) cause everything else seems to be a bit more pricy.

Question is, is it worth it? Cause I have a Epiphone Dot and my style of music is Alternative rock/Post-Grunge.

Is there anyone who's used this amp who's got an opinion on it?

Please do lemme know as possible as the seller can only reserve it for 2 days :C

My friend has one. It is not that great, but it is not horrible either. He plays live and his band sounds alright(they play 90's trash)

In the US $250-300 for that set up would be the norm.

Can you try it before you buy it?

That's the advantage of being such a distance from Yianni. I can continue to live my life without fear of stumbling upon his dark terror.

I probably could try it out.

Do you guys know of any other amp which would suit my genre for about $400?
