Hey y'all, so my summer internship will likely end with me having about $1000 to devote towards an all-tube head, to be replacing my relatively crappy Line 6 Spider III HD150. The Line 6 served its purpose for about a year, but I replaced my beat-up Ibanez RG120 with a SUH-WEET Reverend Double Agent, and, well, the new guitar has really exposed the amp's shortcomings, especially as far as clean tones go. So I'm gonna sell the Line 6 head, and devote the money from that sale to a tube amp, leaving me with likely around 12-1300 to spend. I don't mind buying used as long as it's in pretty good shape, as I've been browsing eBay a lot for amps.

TL;DR I should have around 1200 to spend on an amp head, what should I look at?

Here's what I've liked so far, and a rough idea of the cheaper prices I've seen them for used:
Blackstar HT-100H $6-800
Carvin V3 $6-800 used, $900 new
Laney VH100R $7-900
Egnater Vengeance $6-800 used, $10-1100 new
Orange TH100 $11-1200
Marshall JVM410H $12-1300

I'm our band's rhythm guitarist (and singer), and we play mostly punk/hard rock, and a good amount of stuff with clean tones. I play very little heavy metal, so super-intense distortion isn't necessary.
Also, should I consider replacing the Line 6 4x12 I have now?

Thank you very much, in advance!

Look at the: Krank Chadwick, Krank 1980, Marshall JCM2000 DSL50/100, Laney VH100r, Egnater Renagade.
These can be had for <$600
Yes get a new cab also. Marshall 1960a/b $350 used, Line 6 Spider Valve 4x12 $400, Mesa recto 4x12 $450

You would have a sick rig for your budget

Of the amps you aleady have listed i would for the orange or the blackstar. Both are extremely god sounding amps for those prices

Yeah thanks for the advice y'all! And I do think the Orange is my favorite of the ones I listed above, but I'd love to hear someone talk about any of the other heads I listed... Or mention some others I should check out, like robbgnarly did.

I'd go for a new cab as well, probably something with V30 speakers. If you can get a cab for around $400, I'd go for one of the Marshall DSL's Robbgnarly listed. If you want a couple other options for amp heads that haven't been mentioned, look around at Mesa Single Rectifiers and the F50/100 heads. You'll see those crop up on Guitar Center's used section for $650-$750.
This is the life we must choose.

I'm surprised that a big arm hasn't appeared out of the amp and slapped you across the face.

punk/hard rock is vague, and so is "cleans". Do you want spank or bloom? Saturation or bite?

Out of your list, the Laney VH100r is the best. The Orange is good, but not as good as the Laney IMO.

The list I gave would be my first choices to test drive and see if you like them.
