Four walls know me
by the name of chalk
they bear; wear out
whats left of it

I regret! and regress
I regret! and regress

Free to go, but
Sleep brings black
Time turns, and I'm back
I'm back

I regret! and regress
I regret! and regress

Cut off my wings
I won't be back!
Cut off my wings
They keep me down
Cut off my wings
I won't be back!
Cut off my wings
I won't fall, down

I REGRET, REGRET, REGRET.
REGRET, REGRET, REGRET

and regress

I need all the input I can get. I don't know where to go with this one, I usually do but this one seemd to write it self without me steering it towards what I "want"

Very nice. Clear imagery from the start; even without the title you know this is someone in a cell/jail of some kind. I don't know that I love the repetition of "I'm back" in the second verse, especially with the use of the word "back" in the bridge. I understand the need for emphasis on this idea of returning/not wanting to return/returning anyway, but maybe there is something else that can cap off that second verse that sets up the same idea. Overall, really well done.
