The power's off
We don't know why
Just keep calm, and stop your crying
We'll return soon
To the greater scheme
Take your place, and stop your trying
To get out

Individuality is gone, unless you embrace
The uniform unconformity
“Be yourself” they tell us
But not if you’re not going to be me
Then you just shut up

Get in line
Move in time
And you’ll find, its real easy
Don’t think at all
Walk faster now
Follow suit, and stop your turning
Around right now

Individuality is gone, unless you embrace
The uniform unconformity
“Be yourself” they tell us
But not if you’re not going to be me
Then you just shut up

I don’t want to be you, I don’t want to live the way you live
It’s not that I hate you, that’s just not who I want to be
I’m almost sorry.
I'm new here. Hurt me plenty.

The third verse is my favorite, the lyrics are all a little cliched, but i think in a fast moving power punk song they would work real well.

Third verse? Oh the outtro thing, at least as I wrote/read it. I was writing it as a hard-hitting punk song (at least, after my friendo told me the first verse sounded crappy as a slow tune).

Thanks for the input, and yeah I know its cliche, but my parents...and the system...and the man. N' sh*t.

I like it for the scum aspect. Extremely negral towards the bottom of the horse. Thank you for your masonry, love the glass!
