Hi all,

I'm looking to get a new amp soon. I compose and play alot of djenty music and I want an amp that can give me that nice high gain tone but also sparkly cleans and generally versatile. I'd also like an amp that lends itself well to home recording. My budget right now is $600US to $1000US.

I've been looking at the Blackstar HT series and also the Mesa Mimi Rectifier. Any other suggestions?

I'm also considering saving for much much MUCH longer and get the Kemper Profiling amp as I've played on one and it is AMAZING but definitely out of my price range right now.

Probably the best idea, or save up more and get the Kemper or the Axe II

I have the HD500 which is the exact same thing in terms of sound and it's definitely good enough for me. For your budget if you want versatile this is probably one of the best options.
