Alright some background first. I've been playing for 4 years and I can play basically anything I've ever tried to effortlessly. Between the buried and me, nile, human abstract, whatever. But lately I haven't played much and I've just noticed I can't hold the pick anymore without it sliding on my thumb and either dropping it or having to stop what I'm playing and get myself organized. Any of you guys ever have this problem or know how I can improve it? I've checked all the noob guitar videos and none of them really help with this issue. Any ideas?

You can take a knife and carve some dents on the pick, it's gonna be harder to slip.
