Maybe I just don't know about other local networks, but I haven't seen this kind of stuff on any news station I've seen.

He has this... douchy quality to his voice, but he somehow redeems himself by his funny-not funny antics. His segments seem more like a Youtube channel than an on air segment at a news station.

Oh my god. The bit where he's like "Why not a grape?", "I don't know, Potassium is great" was like a bloody Curb skit. But everything in that exchange before "Can I ask you a something", is horribly awkward.

That's what makes him hilarious. He's always over-the-top regardless if it's a murder or 2 inches of snow.
