Rome is my favourite by far might be nostalgia though.

Rome is the most appealing setting IMO, but perhaps too old..

If I like medieval I'll just have to get Rome 2 when that comes out

It's not dated at all, the graphics and gameplay are no worse than any of the newer games.

So, should I hold on to some of the trading cards and hope they go up in value over time, or just get rid of them now?

Maybe the one's you get from voting and buying during the sales will? Kinda makes me wish I hadn't sold like 15 of them already

I don't think they'll go up by much. Maybe today and tomorrow they'll be worth a bit higher, but after that the demand goes way down, and there'll be so many people trying to sell them that they'll saturate the market. I'd say hold off on selling them til after the sale's over, because you might get a bit more than now.

The sales are officially over ;_;

I wasn't even going to buy anything as I just started really using Steam again last year, but this is what I ended up getting:

- The Binding Of Isaac
- Hotline Miami
- Just Cause 2
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution
- Fallout 3
- CS:GO
- Saints Row 3 - The Full Package

Pooping is well good though, to be fair.

Only ended up getting Kerbal Space Program and I can't get it to run on Ubuntu 12.04

Still worth it though

It'll work fine on Linux, if you need a free OS to run it on.

I swear the sale seemed really short this year. Maybe I've just been working more (I did miss a flash sale every day) but I feel like there was a lot less stuff on sale and a lot more repeats.

Ended it all with RAGE. Figured out to late that I should have bought MEtro but eh whatever. It will only be $20 next year.

Sale this year was kinda balls for me.

There should be some stuff for me at Christmas though, as most of the stuff was simply not discounted enough for me and that should change as the games get older.

I walked away with New Vegas ultimate and Mount and Blade ultimate.

I'm going to have a blast when I finally get a good gaming computer.

Rage runs like absolute shit on PC.

I loved it on PS3, I still love it on PC, but it's just terrible.

Keep Vsync on Smart, run it on the 64 bit .exe, don't use a large texture cache, don't turn texture detail on.

Basically run it exactly how it sets itself to run when it starts.

You'll also want to do this handy little step to greatly reduce the texture pop in.

I loved the game, but it's just terribly optimized on PC. Seriously.

I ended up with Tomb Raider, Reus, Kinetic Void, To the Moon, and the Knife of Dunwall DLC for Dishonored. Kinetic Void was my only spur-of-the-moment purchase, but I'm so glad I got it because it's really fun to mess around with.

Don't beat yourself up too much. My friend Mike is just as bad with Shogun.
