So I bought Epiphone Dot at a music store today. I didn't realize that the guitar has two dents/chips in it until I got home. Would the store do anything for me if I told them this?

Knowing most stores, they'll say it probably happened after it left the store and is therefore not their responsibility.

Depends on the store. Could depend on where you live. Could depend on the mood of the manager of the shop on the day you decide to bring it back in.

I wouldn't stress about it to be honest. Unless its going to be a museum piece, its going to end up dinged and scratched. These two are the first of many for its lifetime.
