OK all I searched youtube and the forums some was looking as to how I adjust the tension of the pedal on my digitech whammy. I just got a whammy v4 used the other day and it seems to work fine just need to adjust the pedal tension as it's loose and won't stay in the up position at rest. How do I do so what am I adjusting? do I have to take it apart or no?

Tighten the nut on the treadle. You'll have to hold the bolt in place so it doesn't spin, but you can make it as tight as you want that way.
