Hey guys, I am going to sell my Agile Interceptor Pro, so that I can upgrade. I was wondering what a fair asking price for it is. It goes for $1,195 new I believe. It is in good condition just a few minor scratches that any used guitar has from general use. What do you guys think is a fair price?

I have no idea what to tell you to ask -- it's a bit of a specialist instrument, after all, and you're probably going to have a smaller pool of buyers for it compared to, say, a $400 Les Paul variant. That said, we hear from Agile's detractors that they have terrible resale, but the used ones I've seen recently at Guiltar Denter have been pretty near full retail. I'd suggest going for just over $1K as a starting point. Is there a case with the guitar, or do you carry it around wrapped in old newspapers and duct tape? <G>

Out of curiosity (and since you're "upgrading") -- what did you like best about it and what did you like least about it. What's your new guitar going to have that this one does not, and will your new guitar be a neck-through as well?

I was thinking about a strandberg 8 string as an upgrade. The new neck profile on them is what I am interested in. And on the case, I carry it in old junk mail and masking tape I don't subscribe to the news paper. I loved the Agile though, I used it on my bands album that we are currently working on. I loved that was pretty well made and sounded great. The only thing I didn't like is Kahler floating bridge. I hate trems now but that's all preference.
