What's up everyone?

Here is my cover of 'Crawling in the Dark' by Hoobastank. I used a backing track that I made for this cover, and I have also uploaded that to YouTube and posted it below.

Also, I did something new in this video. In the actual song, there is a part right before the first chorus that has some amp feedback. I don't have the equipment to do that kind of thing, so what I did instead was turn on the 'Fade In' effect on my Line 6 amp, and hit some harmonics that are generally the same pitch as the feedback. I think it turned out alright, but I would be interested to your feedback on it.

So take a listen and let me know what you think!

Guitar is a bit to loud in the mix. Ya did good work imitating the feedback. That is one huge down fall to recording thru a pc, with out an amp and a mic that you can't get the actual feed back. Only recently have I been able to get my volume and gain levels to where I can get feedback when im playing. its an awesome feeling. I think this sounds great, other than the guitar parts being to loud.

nice work, wanna collab some time?

Your rhythm playing is really good, but your lead could use a little more flow and less treble. Overall I'd say its really good, and I'd be glad to see a guitar player this good in a cover band, usually they are so below par.
Very good!, nice tones funny the only song im familiar of this band is there very famous radio hit Reason or The Reason. This is a pretty good song though, I like it. I agree with the levels of the guitar being too loud in the mix but I think us as guitarist have a tendency to mix the guitars too loud! lol. thanks for watching my vid and hope you check out my other covers on my channel and subscribe I have lots of covers with singing too.
