Hi.

I have a fender blacktop jaguar and I've noticed recently that after 1 session of playing my guitar the fretboard becomes very sticky and hard to slide up and down the fret with ease. The room I play in is quite hot so I do get a bit sweaty, but I was wondering if there may be something up with the guitar or is it just a case of lemon oiling the fretboard after each session!? Anyone else have this issue.....

Thanks.

Stop playing after masturbating....it helps haha. No seriously, dehumidifier or dry your hands with talcum powder before playing

Don't lemon oil your fretboard after every sitting. That should be done once, maybe twice a year. Dry your hands before playing or right after playing just wipe down the neck really well to clean off any sweat.

Talcum powder dries your hands out. Just get rid of the excess with a towel or cloth and its good stuff.
