Hi guys

I'm having a little problem with my headphones.
When I plug them in with master volume on low settings only the right site
makes sound but when I increase the volume to around 4-5 the left one kicks in.
I have no idea what's going on. The phones also give distortion when it shouldn't.
I've tested them on my ipod and computer and the work perfectly there.

sounds like a dirty input jack.

Get some electrical contact cleaner like Deoxit. Spray the headphone jack then insert and remove the headphones a few times to clean it.

I would not spray the cleaner directly into the jack on the amp, use the headphone end as the aplicator

Almost right.

It was dirty pot, master volume. I gave it a good spray with air and it
couldn't sound better.

Thank you for leading me on the right path.

Cool and now you know what to do if/when it happens again.
