Guy's, I'm looking to get a new little combo amp for use only in my basement. I'll mostly just be playing along to tunes coming through a PA i have down there. Predominately metal music such as Lamb of God and Sepultura, Metallica and such but I would like the ability to handle any style I may be playing. I've heard good things and read a lot of reviews about each amp. I was hoping some of the more seasoned players here could give me some advice.

One thing that is really important to me is simplicity of use. The thing that scares me about the Spider is all the different functions you can make it preform and how easily I can make it do those things. I'm really interested in the amp modeling but if it's any harder than plugging in and going to town it's a turn off to me. It doesn't seem to get much simpler than the Flexwave.

Thanks for any advice
