The solo at the end, at 4:04

Budget, around $600, used.

I've read that Weinman has used a Laney GH50L in the studio - would that amp be good for getting this tone? Because that would be awesome, as I've been looking at them specifically.

The amount of processing makes it near impossible to know what amp specifically could do it as it's been EQ'd in the studio to only allow a small band of frequencies. Assuming that, I don't see why a GH50L couldn't do that, but there are certainly plenty of amps that could obtain it with that amount of studio EQ'ing.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
