Hey guys, I have recently wondered that if i bought a cabinet and a head, would i be able to plug in headphones if there would be output and would that mute the cabinet speakers, or there is no such thing as headphones supported amp heads?

By the way, I have never owned a cabinet, and any head pieces only the combos thus i have no idea about how they work.

If the amp has a headphone out it typically mutes the speaker jacks.

What amp are you looking at?

No none of those can run headphones, unless you get something like the Weber attenuator that has a phone jack

The Peavey vypyr tube has a phone out and so does the EVH 5150 II mini, but there is not many that have this.
