Missing a lot of the guitar parts (bass notes in verse). I know its your own interpretation but it leaves that feeling pretty hollow.

The intro kinda shocks you, you should put that part in the verse after the solo/breakdown. Ah wait you do, yea it sounds good there.

vocals were pretty decent. check out mine? C4C?

I want to start by saying that I take this cover as you showing more skills vocally than on the guitar. Not that your playing wasnt good, it was just not quite what the original song was. Vocally you do a good job, Sound like Scott Strap a bit, but you stay in turn very well and I like that. I agree that it feels hollow but overall I think you captured what you were going for perfectly. The hollow sadness of the song comes thru in your cover.

Nice Work. Good Mixing, clean clear video.

Thanks for the replies guys!
Like you both pointed out, I was much more focussed on the vocal melodies and making them fit than adding lots of layers of guitar. I wanted to go for a more stripped down approach than nail it exactly to the original kind of more like how it would be played live but with a shed load of harmonies (=

I'll check out both your tracks and leave some feed back after work!
