Ohoy!

I feel like selling some stuff and buying some more stuff, mainly a guitar. My main guitar as of now is a Gibson SG Standard 2009 HCH and I want a second guitar that sums up these requirements:

- 24/75"
- 6 string.
- Humbuckers.
- Gibson 50s neck profile.
- No modern guitars (no sharp edges).
- Set-neck.
- 2 tone, 2 volume pots.
- Binding along the neck, for the looks.
- Prices 1500$ and below.
- Weight doesn't matter (I'm young!)
- Colour depends on the rest of the guitar.
- Mainly going to be used for: Rock, Grunge, Stoner, Psychedelic, Space, etc...
- Brand doesn't matter, just no knock-off copies from unstable businesses.
- Gonna play it through a LOT of pedals and a tube amp.

I don't think I'm forgetting anything... OH! I'm in Spain, so I'd have to order something through Thomann or Music Store or some local vendor.

PS: I've already asked TGP, but they have a tendency to point out what I DON'T need of my list and then they give me something completely different...
Guitars:
- Gibson SG Standard
- Lag Roxane 500
- Eastwood Hi-Flyer
- Takamine EG523

Amplifiers:
- Jet City JCA50H
- George Dennis 60Watt The Blue Combo
- Marshall SuperBass 100Watt

These Reverends only lack the individual tone & Volume pots, but instead, have volume, tone and bass contour control:

Bayonet

Sensei RA FM

There are other Reverends I think you'd like, but they have bolt on necks and/or are 25.5" scale, like the Reeves Gabrels sig II.

The Electra Omegas are close, with individual volumes (with push/pull coil taps) but only one tone control:

Hagstrom looks like it has a LOT of guitars- too many for me to list individually- for you to look at:

Am I missing something or isn't the perfect fit for you a Gibson LP Traditional?

Fernandes doesn't have any guitars with the dual tone & volume configuration, but I think you should take a look at them anyway: their Sustainer pickups could be quite entertaining for the genres you're talking about, and their aesthetics seem to resonate with yours. For example:

Thank you, guys! I'm liking more a dual cut-away than a single cut-away (LP) but I could go for either.

I was looking into a Les Paul Traditional, but it's hard to find a nice colour and I have my doubts that I'm a Les Paul type...

Not sure what you mean by les paul type. If those are the features that you want in a guitar, then I'd say that you are the les paul type.

The US Masters company makes excellent guitars, but they start towards the upper end of your budget, and I think all of them are 25.5" scale. They are also a direct seller- like Carvin- so I don't know what affect that would have on their price & availability.

You're a Les Paul type. Your specification requirements make you one. They are all nice colours. What about wine red?

+1 every point you (op) started in the beginning matches a les paul's layout.

I'm wondering when that finish- and those other guitars- will show up in their website, since all they have right now is the basic black and basic white Omegas.

Just get a Les Paul of whatever budget you can afford. The upper cutaway should not be a deterrent.
