Do they have an app that lets you return your mac so you can buy a decent spec'd comp with good OS at a decent price?

I'm afraid those don't exist anymore as of Windows 8.

How about you just leave this thread.

Surely the world has had enough threads derailed into mac vs windows arguments.

rickyj is hard to please.

The western world is overpriced, if your doing it right you don't buy any shit here, but directly from China.

rickyj probably doesn't know a psu from a south bridge

OT: I honestly have no idea. I've never really been into icons/apps on a screen.

In regards to your other question I can't imagine that they'd not have some form of note app.

If people are still buying Macs, then clearly not.

iStat Pro for sure.

Now you can obsessively watch your battery health out of the fear of having to have Apple replace it when it finally gives up!

2009 MBP. MBP still works like the day I bought it. Battery bit the bullet last month. Payed $80 for new battery. Replaced myself in under 5 minutes.

What up.

^ I was half joking

It was just how I felt when I got iStat Pro, constantly checking and freaking out when the health dropped by just 1%

Once I'd read up on it I found that it was all fine, and then I found that replacing the battery yourself is pretty straightforward.

You do need to take care of the battery though. My cousins MBP battery is totally boned because he uses it at like 10% charge ALL THE TIME.
