Ok so. Like the title says...Shooting an acoustic guitar. IF you shot an acoustic guitar many times. Like 10 to 20 times. How much would that affect tone, playability, and things of that sort? (Just in the body.) And what are the chances of it cracking and becoming unplayable?

NO SAYING I AM GOING TO DO THIS. It's hypothetical. But it might look kinda legit.

Well the only guns I would shoot it with that are in my house are a VZ-58 and a Mossberg... The VZ penetrates 1/4 steel plate and the Moss just blows stuff up so either way the guitar is ****ed...

If you want it to look like bullet holes, just drill a few small holes in the soundboard. Keep away from the bracing. But before you ruin the guitar, think about this.... Except a few specialty cartridges a .45acp is the largest bullet you're gonna get. That's just shy of a half an inch. How would your guitar look from ten feet away with a bunch of half inch holes in it? Like shit. Get these instead http://www.bullet1.com/index.shtml
I love all 5 (sold a couple) of my Carvin X-100b's.

I should imagine the holes would be a fair bit bigger than the diameter of the bullet itself... especially when they go out the back.

Stay classy, pit.

http://gardenandgun.com/article/guitar-god Wayne Henderson has a guitar that was shot with a .22 (8th paragraph). It still plays great. There's a video on youtube somewhere.

That is just 1 small 22 hole... the original poster sounded like he was going to unload a magazine on it or something...
