Is there a thread where people share how they got certain tones out of their multi fx pedals? I got a BOSS ME-25 and im still a newbie when it comes to these things... I suck at starting from scratch making tones and I dont know why...

The ME-25 is laid out in a similar style to individual stomps, just set things at 12 o'clock and start tweaking until you get the sort of sounds you want.

What kind of sounds are you after? What style of music do you play?
It's an opinion. It's subjective. And I'm right, anyway.

There is one about amp settings, but I don't really remember where so you'll have to search a bit to find it.

It's a sticky anyway, if that helps.

Clue: amplifiers amplify so don't turn it on if you need quiet.

I'm kind of experimenting right now, I can easily get clean tones that I like, but when it comes to a good modern metal tone, it's lacking somehow. I play a range of styles, blues, pop punk, classic rock, and metal from Metallica to Lamb of God, or Opeth. I'm probably gonna have to be patient and fiddle with it.
