I was given a mandolin that belonged to my great grandfather. I'm guessing its from the 1940s but I can't be sure. I've looked all over the web and I can't find much on it. I plan on selling it but I have no idea what its worth.

Here are some pictures. I am sorry about the poor quality.

I find the F-Holes interesting, as well as the pickguard. Your only selling it for $75 bucks eh?

I see some regent mandolins going in the $150 ballpark, I would start there.

Does it have a serial number anywhere? Give it a good look.

How hard is that pickguard, does it look like it's made from some real high quality plastic?

For $75 bucks I'd say it's too low because if I was right handed I would try buying it right now just knowing there's a chance it could be worth much more.
