That's an EC-1000 of some sort. Flat Black.
Tomorrow will take us away
Far from home
No one will ever know our names
But the bards' songs will remain
Tomorrow will take it away
The fear of today
It will be gone
Due to our magic songs

It just looks like a flat black LP Custom.

Hetfield almost never plays LTD's. The knob config on the guitar is nothing like an Eclipse either. He usually plays with ESP Truckster's and Gibson LP Custom's.

Oh yeah. Grainy video looked like it said LTD and I didn't know Gibson made a flat black guitar. All that talk about 'Ebony finish'.

Yeah, it is a flat black LP Custom.

The japanese and european versions of the Eclipse has the Gibson-layout (4 knobs). Only the US-market Eclipse II has the three knob-layout. The Eclipse II also has a slightly sharper cutaway.

How you know you have too many guitars...

Apparently once also known as PonyFan #834553.

Anybody know what the control setup is for this guitar? What's the switch do? Is it just a kill switch?
