Hey, guys; once again I have a guitar modification/building question for you.
I am a very low-budget guitarist ($0 at the moment)
and I am considering putting a custom pickguard on my Epi Special II...
I know that I wouldn't be able to fit a normal LP pickguard, becuase of the ******ed knob setup... So, are there any materials I could use from around the house to build myself a pickguard for my LP Special II?

ps. I am also wondering exactly HOW I would MOUNT it to the guitar... I know that I would have to somehow use a bracket and screw it to the guitar (but I really think it would mess up the paint!) Sooooo yeah... Thanks in advance...

I found using a cut piece of mirror can look really cool, and dont bother screwing it on, just use super glue, it'll hold it in place until you want to move it then you can just use nail polish remover and it'll come off with no damage to the paint. #Protip
