There's also a ton of others on my sound cloud. I got bored and decided to try singing. Do I have any potential? Should I seek formal training, am I good already or should I abandon hope?

Recorded with Soundcloud Android amp and stock microphone on cheap android.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

So, any constructive criticism as to why? Or was just a smarter way of saying "boo you stink"?

Either way that was by far not my best and next time I'm home alone I'll give it more oomph.

He means "take it to Singing and Vocals" (edit: this place).

If you want to get serious about singing, you've got a lot to work on, in terms of pitch, enuncuation, and most importantly, projection. That means getting the right notes, getting the right syllables, and being loud and boomy, respectively.

Once you get there, by the way, do yourself a favor and read the "read this" sticky. It is very useful.
